Upon admission to the Program, students will be assigned an interim advisor to guide them through the core courses and assist them as they consider their area of research. All program advisors will have an earned doctorate, and be a member of the University's graduate faculty.

After successful completion of the comprehensive examinations, students will choose a dissertation chair who will serve as advisor and guide them through their research/dissertation process.
